Vaginismus is a more common condition than we think. It's why I roll my eyes when I read books or watch films depicting the first time as an easy-peasy.
It's even more ridiculous when they suggest that the woman experienced an orgasm or multiple.

Reading this felt like someone out there has lived a life I'm currently living.. from the parents' sexual orientation to now living with vaginismus. It's how it's Google that's the common diagnostic doctor for this thing 😂. I hope I find a man as patient with me though. Thank you Hamda for sharing 🫂❤️

Plus great you talked about how your later BF handled the situation, i learnt, prepares or at least gave an insight of how to possibly handle situations like that in a good manner. We definitely need more safe spaces for women to talk about sex. There's so much to uncover and unlearn! Similar to you, I never saw my parents show each other affection. Sad.
